Business and community events
Plan a frozen drink machine for office parties, grand openings, open houses, car shows, resident events, galas, and fundraisers across Austin and Central Texas.

A frozen drink machine gives a business or community event a cold, easy draw: one two-bowl machine serves up to 100 guests, and both bowls can pour alcohol-free slushies. Here is how to plan one for nine kinds of events in Austin and Central Texas.
Before you plan any event
- Guests. One machine serves up to 100 guests. Rent 2 or 3 machines for bigger crowds, for up to six flavors. For four or more machines, contact us.
- Power. Each machine needs a standard 110 volt outlet on its own circuit. At a public park, you need a generator of at least 3,500 watts per outlet.
- Surface. Use a sturdy table or our rolling machine cart (one per machine). We can't set up on rock or gravel.
- Water. Have a garden hose and water source ready when we arrive.
- Timing. We set up 2 to 3 hours before the event, and the first batch takes 2 to 3 hours to freeze. No ice needed.
- Alcohol. If you plan to serve alcohol at a business or public event, check Texas law, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) rules, and the venue's policy first. This isn't legal advice. Slushie bowls are an easy alcohol-free option, since every mix is alcohol-free until you add alcohol.
Sample setups
| Event | Machines | Bowl ideas |
|---|---|---|
| Office party, 40 guests | 1 | Cherry Limeade and Lemonade slushies |
| Grand opening, all day | 2 | Brand colors, one bowl freezing while one pours |
| Client appreciation, 80 guests | 1 | Lime margarita and Frosé, labeled |
| Car show or market | 1 | Blue Raspberry and Watermelon slushies |
| Gala, 250 guests | 3 | Up to six flavors, including two slushies |
Plan on one mix for about every 20 guests, and order a little extra. Unopened mixes are refunded at pickup.
Office parties
A machine in the break room turns a regular Friday into an event. Ask your building manager which outlet sits on its own circuit, and keep the microwave and coffee maker off it. Many offices pour slushies in both bowls, such as Cherry Limeade and Lemonade, or pick Mocha Cappuccino for an afternoon treat. For more on team events, see corporate event margarita machine rental.
Tip: Label each bowl with the flavor and "alcohol-free" so everyone knows what's in the cup.
Grand openings
A bright machine near the front door pulls people in off the sidewalk. Pick flavors that match your brand colors: Blue Raspberry for blue, Green Sour Apple for green, Orange Mango for orange. Put a sign above the machine with your logo and the two flavors. If you expect a steady crowd all day, rent a second machine so one can freeze while the other pours.
Client appreciation
A client party should feel easy for your team. We deliver, set up, and show your staff how the machine works, then come back to pick up and clean. Pair one familiar flavor with one surprise, such as Lime margarita and Frosé for an evening event, or Strawberry and Peach Bellini as slushies for a daytime open house. Add a rim salt or sugar, like Tajín Classic Seasoning or Sweet Heat Cocktail Sugar, for a nice finishing touch; each 4 oz package rims about 40 drinks.
Open houses
Real estate open houses, school open houses, and showroom events all run on foot traffic. A slushie machine on the patio or in the kitchen gives visitors a reason to stay a few more minutes. Keep it simple: two slushie flavors, a stack of cups, and a trash can nearby. The Party Package includes one machine, one mix, and 50 cups and straws; extra cups and straws come in packs of 50.
Car shows
Car shows mean long, hot afternoons on pavement, which suits a frozen drink machine. Confirm power with the organizer before you book. If the lot has no outlets, plan a generator of at least 3,500 watts per outlet. Pick bold colors that photograph well, like Blue Raspberry and Cherry Bomb, and rent an ice chest (120 to 150 quarts) for bottled water.
Farmers markets
A market booth needs shade, power, and a level, paved spot. We can't set up on rock or gravel, so ask the market manager for a paved space. If you plan to sell drinks, ask the market manager and your city about any permits first. Watermelon, Strawberry Kiwi, and Lemonade fit a market crowd.
Apartment resident events
Pool parties, move-in mixers, and resident appreciation days are a great fit. Confirm the clubhouse or pool deck has an outlet on its own circuit, and check your community's alcohol rules. Many properties pour one slushie bowl and one margarita bowl, labeled clearly. See apartment and HOA community events for more ideas.
Nonprofit galas
A frozen drink station adds color to a gala reception. For a big guest list, rent 2 or 3 machines and offer up to six flavors, like Lime margarita, Strawberry margarita, Sangria, Frosé, and two slushies. If you serve alcohol, check TABC rules and the venue's policy first. Assign a volunteer to each station to keep cups stocked and the area tidy.
Church and school fundraisers
Slushies are an easy seller at a fun run, festival, or bake sale. Keep both bowls alcohol-free, and post a clear sign with the two flavors. Fruit Punch, Blue Raspberry, and Cherry draw a line of kids fast. Most fruit slushie mixes make about 50 frozen drinks of 8 oz, so order extra; unopened mixes are refunded at pickup.
Book early for busy dates
Online booking needs 2 days' notice, and multi-day rentals of up to 7 days are available online. Same-day drop-off and pickup is an option for a short event. Our machines are booked out Oct 29 to Nov 2, 2026; Nov 21 to Dec 3, 2026; and Mar 8 to 16, 2027, so plan around those dates.
