Invite tips

  • Send it 3 to 4 weeks out for weddings, graduations, and big birthdays; 1 to 2 weeks for a casual party.
  • Name the drinks. "Frozen lime and strawberry margaritas" gets more yeses than "drinks provided."
  • Say if kids are welcome. One bowl can stay an alcohol-free slushie; put that on the invite.
  • Ask for the RSVP by a date, so you know how many mixes to order. One mix serves about 20 guests.
