Two-flavor margarita machine set up for a party with balloons

The best Halloween party games are simple, a little silly, and easy to play with a drink in one hand. Mix a few kid games with a few grownup games, and plan your party for Oct 23 to 25, since our machines are booked out Oct 29 to Nov 2.

Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday, Oct 31. That weekend is already full for us, so the weekend before gives you the same spooky mood with a frozen drink machine at the center of the fun. Here are games that work for mixed crowds in a backyard, a garage, or a community room.

Halloween party games for little kids

Keep games short for young kids. Ten minutes per game is plenty, and every child should win something small.

  • Mummy wrap. Split kids into teams of two or three. Give each team a roll of toilet paper and two minutes to wrap one player. Let the grownups vote on the best mummy.
  • Pumpkin ring toss. Set small pumpkins in a row and toss glow necklaces over the stems. Move the line closer for the littlest players.
  • Monster freeze dance. Play spooky music and stop it at random. Everyone freezes in a monster pose. Anyone who wiggles helps pick the next song.
  • Slushie color guess. Pour small tasting cups from the slushie bowl and let kids guess the flavor with their eyes closed. Blue Raspberry and Cherry Bomb are easy wins. Green Sour Apple fits the theme and looks like a witch's potion.

Games for older kids and teens

Older kids want a bit of challenge and a chance to show off.

  • Flashlight scavenger hunt. Hide plastic spiders, bats, and eyeballs around the yard after dark. Hand out flashlights and a checklist.
  • Spooky story circle. One person starts a scary story with a single sentence. Each player adds one more sentence. The story gets strange fast.
  • Costume runway. Clear a path, play loud music, and let everyone strut. Give awards for scariest, funniest, and best homemade.

Grownup games

Adult games work best when guests can join and quit at any time.

  • Murder mystery lite. Hand each guest a card with a character and one secret. Guests mingle and try to name the culprit before the end of the night.
  • Name that horror movie. Play the first few seconds of famous movie themes. The first person to shout the title wins the round.
  • Pumpkin carving contest. Set up a table outside with newspaper, tools, and a trash can. Give a prize for the best design.
  • Margarita taste test. Fill one bowl with Lime margarita and the other with Strawberry or Mango. Guests vote for a favorite. Add a rim station with Tajín Classic Seasoning or Sweet Heat Cocktail Sugar for an extra kick.

Set up the drink station

A two-bowl machine serves two flavors at once, so you can run a kids slushie side and a grownup margarita side from one machine. Every mix is alcohol-free until you add alcohol, so label each side clearly. Put the machine near the games but out of the main walking path.

One machine serves up to 100 guests. A margarita mix makes about 75 frozen drinks, and most slushie mixes make about 50, so plan your mixes around your guest count. Our guide to Halloween party frozen drinks has flavor ideas and spooky drink names.

We deliver, set up, and show you how the machine works. The machine needs 2 to 3 hours to freeze the first batch, so plan your delivery well before guests arrive. Have a garden hose and water source ready when we get there.
