Cedar Park, Leander, and Liberty Hill park pavilions
Find Cedar Park, Leander, and Williamson County park pavilions for a margarita or slushie machine party, with electricity, water, alcohol, and permit rules.

For a margarita or slushie machine party in Cedar Park or Leander, reserve a city park pavilion that lists electricity, or book a Williamson County group pavilion at Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, Champion Park, or River Ranch County Park. Cedar Park lists both power and water at several pavilions. In Leander, plan slushies unless you get an alcohol permit.

How booking works
- Cedar Park: the rentals page links an online reservation system, but Lakeline Park and Milburn Park pavilions must be reserved in person or by phone. For pavilions with water, reserve a water key and pick it up at the Cedar Park Recreation Center (1435 Main Street) at least one week before your rental.
- Leander: request pavilions through the city's online catalog and pay in full to hold the date.
- Williamson County: book online or call park headquarters. At River Ranch, the county suggests the day-use Homestead Pavilion for birthday parties, and guests pay their own day-use entry.
Liberty Hill
The City of Liberty Hill says City Park picnic facilities are first come, first served and can't be reserved. For a reserved spot near Liberty Hill, look at River Ranch County Park in the table above.
Rules to know
Cedar Park
- The parks regulations ban alcohol and glass inside pool fences and near water playscapes. They don't address alcohol at pavilions, so ask the parks office.
- Providing entertainment in a park needs a special permit.
- Parks are open dawn to 10 p.m. Drive and park only on roads and in parking areas.
Leander
- Alcohol: the city's special events policy says drinking alcohol on city property needs a valid permit.
- Permit triggers: more than 100 guests, inflatables, amplified sound, selling alcohol, or needing more than two small outlets at a pavilion. Noise rules apply before 7 a.m. and after 10 p.m.
- Generators: bring one 5 pound ABC fire extinguisher for each generator and follow fire department rules.
- Also prohibited: piñatas and outside grills. Don't plug inflatables into a pavilion.
Williamson County parks
- Glass containers are prohibited in all county parks, per the county rules.
- Champion Park allows alcohol and asks guests to drink responsibly. Its page also bans piñatas, confetti, silly string, water balloons, and sidewalk chalk.
- Selling alcohol in county parks needs written approval from the parks director, and performers need approval for amplified sound.
Frozen drink machine tips for these parks
- Power: our rule at a public park is a generator of at least 3,500 watts per outlet. Leander's pavilion outlets are for small electronics, so plan on the generator there and pack the fire extinguisher. Read our power guide.
- Water: have a garden hose ready when we arrive. In Cedar Park, pick up your water key a week ahead. Leander says park water isn't available for slip and slides or dunk tanks, so ask about a spigot or bring bottled water.
- Surface and shade: we set up under the pavilion roof on concrete or a sturdy table, never on rock or gravel.
- Kids: every mix is alcohol-free until you add alcohol. In Leander, two slushie flavors and no alcohol means no alcohol permit. Label each bowl if you mix margaritas and slushies elsewhere.
