Kyle and Buda park pavilions for your party
Kyle and Buda park pavilion rentals for a margarita or slushie machine party: which sites list electricity, how far ahead to book, and what to ask first.

What to know before you book in Kyle:
- Bring a table. Pavilion and gazebo rentals don't include tables or chairs. A filled machine needs a sturdy table, or add our rolling machine cart.
- Ash Pavilion: the city says food isn't allowed inside the pavilion, and rentals have a 4 hour minimum. Ask whether that covers frozen drinks.
- Restrooms stay public, and other park amenities aren't part of the rental.
- Bigger parties: an event with 100 or more guests, advertising, or one open to the public needs a Special Events Application at least 90 days out.
- Generators and alcohol: the rentals page doesn't address either. Ask the reservations office.
Buda pavilion rentals
Submit a request on Buda's RecDesk reservation site. Pavilion reservations must be made at least 5 days ahead and no more than 6 months ahead. Parks staff contact you within 3 to 4 business days to confirm the date and take payment, and your date isn't set until you pay. If you cancel, the city offers a date change instead of a refund, depending on availability.
Buda City Park
City Park, at 204 San Antonio St in downtown Buda, has a large pavilion with two full-size basketball courts, picnic tables you can reserve (tables 1 to 7), BBQ pits, restrooms, and a splash pad in summer. The city lists electricity and water among the park's amenities; ask whether an outlet is part of your pavilion rental. Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Heads up: the City Park playground is closed for upgrades from Oct 5, 2026 through early 2027. The pavilion, picnic tables, BBQ pits, and restrooms stay open.
Other Buda pavilions
Buda's reservation site also lists pavilions at Garlic Creek Park, Green Meadows Park (two pavilions), Stagecoach Park, Stoneridge Park, Summer Pointe Park, Whispering Hollow Park, Bradfield Park, and Buda Championship Park. Power and alcohol rules aren't listed, so ask the reservations office before you book.
Plan the drinks
Without a confirmed outlet, plan on a generator of at least 3,500 watts per outlet, and ask first whether the park allows one. Read more in power for a frozen drink machine. Bring a garden hose, and pick a flat spot that isn't rock or gravel.
Hosting kids or an alcohol-free crowd? Every mix is alcohol-free until you add alcohol, so Watermelon, Fruit Punch, or Blue Raspberry works as a kids slushie. See delivery details for Kyle, or go back to all Austin party places.
