A few details worth knowing:
- Lake Pflugerville Pavilion sits next to the public sand beach, the 5K trail, and a playscape. Restrooms are on the north side, and the north shore lot has more than 50 spaces. The city notes that 5K races at the lake can affect availability.
- Gilleland Creek Pavilion has lights, picnic tables, and a grill. The policy says guests park in the lot in front of the pool, not at the pavilion or on the service road, so tell us when you book and plan on our rolling machine cart.
- Green Red Barn rents Friday to Sunday, one reservation per weekend, and isn't available on city holidays.
Pflugerville rental rules
From the city's pavilion reservation policy:
- Alcohol: alcohol is permitted in city parks, and opened alcohol must stay under the pavilion. The permit holder must be 21 or older and is responsible for everyone at the event.
- No glass in any Pflugerville park. Plastic cups only.
- Setup counts: the rental period includes setup and cleanup time, and park curfew is 10 p.m. We set up 2 to 3 hours before the party, so book a window that covers it.
- Music: must follow the city noise ordinance.
- Tents and inflatables: no tents or awnings without a permit; bounce houses need a permit and a generator.
- Private only: the city doesn't rent facilities for festivals, open-invitation parties, or special events.
- Generators for a drink machine: not addressed. Ask the reservations office.
Northeast Metro Park (Travis County)
Travis County's Northeast Metropolitan Park, at 15500 Sun Light Near Way in Pflugerville, has an extra large shelter with electricity for up to 100 people. Request it by message to the Travis County Parks Main Desk. County rules prohibit glass and public display or consumption of alcohol, so plan this one as a slushie party. Every mix is alcohol-free until you add alcohol, so try Blue Raspberry and Cherry Limeade side by side.
Hutto pavilion rentals
