Glow pool party theme
Plan a glow pool party theme with a two-bowl frozen drink machine: neon blue and green bowls, a kids slushie, glow decor, food, games, and printables.

A glow pool party theme pairs neon frozen drinks like Blue Lemon Gold Margarita and Green Sour Apple with glow sticks, LED lights, and a pool that lights up after dark. Fill one bowl with Blue Raspberry, alcohol-free, and the kids get the brightest drink at the party.
The look
Neon everything: electric blue, lime green, hot pink, and bright orange against the dark.
- Glow sticks in the pool and floating LED balls
- Glow bracelets and necklaces for every guest
- String lights or LED strips around the fence and patio
- Neon cups and straws
- A black or dark tablecloth so the drink colors pop
- Battery LED lights under clear cups on the table
The two bowls
| Option | Bowl 1 | Bowl 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Neon pair | Blue Lemon Gold Margarita | Green Sour Apple |
| Electric tropical | Blue Hawaiian | Mango Margarita |
| Glow classic | Lime Margarita | Blue Raspberry |
| Hot pink and blue | Cherry Bomb | Blue Raspberry |
Blue and green look brightest under party lights, so they make the best glow bowls.
Kids slushie bowl
Every mix is alcohol-free until you add alcohol. For a kids glow party, fill both bowls with slushies: Blue Raspberry and Green Sour Apple, or Cherry Bomb and Blue Raspberry. For a family party, keep one adult bowl and one kids bowl, or rent a second machine, and label each bowl so nobody mixes them up in the dark. Put labels where they are easy to read under low light.
Rim and garnish
- Tajín Classic Seasoning on mango or lime drinks
- Sweet Heat Cocktail Sugar on Blue Hawaiian
- Chocolate Cocktail Sugar on kids cups
Wrap a glow bracelet around the outside of each cup (never put glow sticks in a drink) and add a lime wheel or gummy candy on a pick.
Food ideas
- Hot dogs, sliders, and pizza for easy poolside eating
- Fruit skewers in neon colors: pineapple, kiwi, strawberries, and grapes
- Chips and dip in plastic bowls (no glass by the pool)
- Neon frosted cupcakes or rainbow cookies
- Popsicles in a cooler
Games and activities
- Glow stick dive: toss glow sticks in the shallow end and see who collects the most.
- Marco Polo after dark: a classic with glow necklaces.
- Glow ring toss: glow bracelets tossed onto pool noodles.
- Neon dance party: a playlist and a few blacklight bulbs on the patio.
Always have a sober adult watching the pool.
Printables
Make a neon invitation on our party invite page. Then print:
- Large bowl labels in bold type: "21 and up" and "Kids slushie"
- A glow stick dive scoreboard
- A pool rules sign

Planning note
Set the machine on a sturdy table or our rolling cart away from the splash zone, near a standard 110 volt outlet on its own circuit. Use plastic cups only around the pool. One machine serves up to 100 guests. We set up 2 to 3 hours before the party, so the first batch is ready when the sun goes down.
